Aquila Eco Lodges

Aquila Eco Lodges is a modern, nature retreat nestled in the Grampians National Park at the foot of Mount Abrupt, near Dunkeld township, that is well known for its great food and art.

Aquila has been rated as one of the 10 top destinations in Victoria by Tourism Victoria and won several tourism awards.
It has been designed as a contemporary showcase for living in harmony with the environment and is certified as aGreen Travel Leader by Ecotourism Australia.

Aquila is a perfect destination for a retreat, romantic gateway and exploration of the Grampian’s native environment. We offer you a taste of true eco tourism and the most leisured and peaceful experience that you are not likely to forget.

Aquila Eco Lodges offers interpretive trails, guided walks, and a resource library. The telephone line is the only service supplied to the Aquila property. We collect our own water, generate power and deal with all waste on site. Our aim is to run Aquila Eco Lodges in line with principles of sustainable living and with a minimum impact on the environment.

The flora and fauna at Aquila have been surveyed by Trust For Nature, and include many species unique to the Grampians. In recognition of its quest for continuous improvement Aquila has received business and environmental management awards. We invite you to come and explore the considerable achievements and outstanding visitor experience of Aquila Eco Lodges.
